CAROLINE NOLAN CONSULTANCY & TRAINING

PSYCHOTHERAPY | CLINICAL SUPERVISION | PRACTITIONER-CARE

I'm Caroline Nolan, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and practitioner-care specialist. With almost 25 years of practice across the therapeutic, holistic and helping professions, I bring a wide scope of knowledge and experience to my work. Through the range of services I offer, I support practitioners across professions and organisations to prioritise practitioner wellbeing and best practice standards through facilitated reflective practice and continued personal and professional development.

Practitioner-care and professional wellbeing are at the centre of any successful and effective service provision, regardless of the discipline or industry. In times of challenge and change, the practitioners and organisations who understand the full spectrum of wellbeing, will create environments that prioritise reflective practice and continued personal and professional development. This practice will not only protect against burnout and professional stress but also cultivates self-awareness, engagement, a sense of purpose and fulfilment that in turn ensures the highest level of service and outcomes for clients, staff and customers.

Whether we work with people through the therapeutic, coaching or allied health professions or our role is one of leadership within an organisation managing a staff team, we have a responsibility and obligation not only to our clients and staff but also to ourselves. This is to ensure we are resourced and resilient and able to withstand the challenges that come and that our wellbeing is supported on all levels.

My training and practice as a medical herbalist alongside my therapy practice for many years imbued in me the importance of nature connection and embodied somatic practices.
